My bird sleeps laying down on cage and keeping its legs at side is it normal?

i have indian ring neck parrot which is 2 months old it cant stand even on the bird stand ,it sleeps mostly laying down on chest keeping its beak towards ground ,the legs at side all other activites are normal but i have a doubt on this way of sleeping can anyone help me

   their's something wrong with him for sure, i'd ask your vet on what might be the cause, looks like he may have splayed leg's, and wasnt treated when he was a youngen

   I agreed with the above answerer and I believed birds (especially ur bird is now two month) can perch and as your bird doesnt, it clearly indicated that something wrong. You should take your bird back to the store and ask for a refund or another bird.

   I hate them selling sick birds.

   I also think it is splayed legs caused by an improper nesting place. Correctable when very young. Either take it back or to the vet. It wont correct itself.

   There is something seriously wrong with you bird,it could be lack of Calcium in it's diet or even dieing as a lot of birds adopt this position when ill.
   I Would return it to where you got it as in any case it is much to young to be taken from it's parents at 2 months old,otherwise get it to a vet before it is too late.
